Account deletion

Delete your Heedli account and associated app data.

You can delete your account in the app. If you cannot access the app, contact us and we will help you request deletion.

Before you delete

Account deletion is permanent. Export anything you need to keep before deleting your account, and cancel any active app-store subscription separately through Apple or Google.

We may need to verify your identity and your authority to act, especially where a request concerns a child or another person.

In-app deletion

Delete from your signed-in app.

Open the app

Sign in to the Heedli account you want to delete.

Go to Account & Profile

From the Me tab, open Account & Profile, then choose Delete Account.

Confirm deletion

Follow the confirmation prompts. This starts deletion for your account and associated cloud data.

What is deleted

We remove account data where technically and legally possible.

  • Your Heedli account record and authentication access.
  • Child profiles, family records, notes, incidents, journals, check-ins, schedules, and support context linked to your account.
  • Documents, images, audio files, report snapshots, and storage objects linked to your account where technically and legally possible.
  • Shared report links and app-generated records linked to your account where technically and legally possible.

What may remain

Some limited records may be retained.

  • Limited records we must keep for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, safeguarding, or compliance reasons.
  • Deletion request records and support correspondence needed to prove or manage the request.
  • App store subscription records held by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or payment platforms. You must cancel active subscriptions in your app-store account.
  • Backups for a limited period until they are overwritten or securely isolated from ordinary use.

Cannot access the app?

Request deletion by email.

Email privacy@heedli.com from the email address on your Heedli account. Tell us that you want to delete your account and associated app data.

We aim to respond within 30 days once we have the information we need to verify and process the request.
