Daily check-ins
A two-minute end-of-day note builds a record of what was actually happening — not just what you can remember in the next appointment. Mood, sleep, eating, energy, what worked, what didn't.
Young people get their own version. Same questions, their own words, their own voice.
Calm tools
When the hard moment is happening — yours or theirs — opening the app shouldn't be one more decision. The toolkit is two taps: a 4-4-4-2 breathing visual, a grounding exercise, a timer, a safe-space view, the helplines that matter, all in one place.
It also remembers that you reached for it. Not as data; just as a quiet reminder that asking for help is the move.
Navigate the system
The acronyms aren't a test. We translate the parts of the SEND system you actually need this week, with calm guides, deadline reminders, and AI-assisted draft letters when it's your turn to write to the local authority or the SENCO.
Everything you produce is yours. Nothing is shared without your say-so.
Insights you can share
Annual reviews go better when you can show, not tell. Insights turn months of check-ins into patterns: triggers, what helps, what's improving — generated as a clean PDF you can take into the room.
AI is optional, on-device where possible, and never trained on your data.
A space that's theirs
The Young Person Hub is a separate, age-appropriate experience. Their feelings, their schedule, their achievements, their notes — with the privacy controls you'd want for them.
Grown-ups can be invited in. They don't get the keys.

No. 04Why we built this
We're not building this to disrupt anything. We're building it because raising a child with additional needs is hard, and the support around it could be a lot kinder than it is.
Heedliwas started by a GP who is also a parent of a child with special needs. The app is the version of support we wanted ourselves at 11pm on a school night — the one that remembers what was hard last week, doesn't shout, and writes things down in plain English.
It's for the whole family. Parents and carers get a quiet place to log what's going on, ask for help when it's heavy, and keep the EHCP work moving. Young people get a space of their own, designed with — not just for — them.
